Effective Date: July 12, 2026
The PNH & Aplastic Anemia Family Alliance (“PNHAA,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to providing limited financial assistance to eligible individuals and families affected by Paroxysmal Nocturnal Hemoglobinuria (PNH) and aplastic anemia. Our Financial Assistance Program exists to help reduce the financial burden associated with treatment, hospitalization, travel, and other medically related hardships while available funding allows.
Because our assistance program is funded entirely through charitable donations, grants, sponsorships, and fundraising efforts, assistance is limited and cannot be guaranteed.
Our Mission
The purpose of the Financial Assistance Program is to provide temporary financial relief to individuals and families experiencing hardship directly related to the diagnosis, treatment, or ongoing management of PNH or aplastic anemia.
Our goal is to help families focus on their loved one’s care during difficult times by easing certain out-of-pocket expenses associated with treatment.
Available Assistance
PNHAA may provide financial assistance for qualifying expenses, subject to available funding.
Examples of eligible expenses may include:
- Hospital parking fees
- Fuel and transportation expenses
- Lodging near treatment centers
- Meals during hospitalization or treatment
- Public transportation
- Airfare related to treatment
- Medical travel expenses
- Temporary childcare during treatment
- Other medically related emergency expenses approved by PNHAA
Assistance is intended to supplement—not replace—other available financial resources.
