The PNH & Aplastic Anemia Family Alliance (“PNHAA,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) Emergency Assistance Grant Program provides limited financial assistance to eligible individuals and families experiencing financial hardship related to the diagnosis, treatment, or management of Paroxysmal Nocturnal Hemoglobinuria (PNH) or aplastic anemia.
These guidelines explain how the program operates, who may qualify, eligible expenses, and the grant review process.
Program Purpose
The Emergency Assistance Grant Program exists to help reduce the unexpected financial burden associated with treatment for PNH and aplastic anemia.
Our goal is to provide timely, compassionate assistance so families can focus on caring for their loved one rather than worrying about immediate out-of-pocket expenses.
Grant Amount
Emergency Assistance Grants are generally awarded in amounts of up to $250 per qualifying medical event, subject to available funding.
Grant amounts may be less than the maximum depending upon demonstrated need, available funding, and the specific expense requested.
PNHAA reserves the right to modify grant amounts at any time.
